The Forest Mega Combo playhouse climbing frame really is one of the most fantastic products in the Playways range. We’ve taken all the amazing features of the Forest Mega, with its lower deck, den and ladder into the upper house and combined it with the Forest Combo, with its wooden clatter bridge to a separate tower to create an amazing play centre that children and parents just love.
The Forest playhouse on the upper platform (2.4m x 2.4m) is a large 1.8m x 1.5m. and with over 6 feet of head height is tall enough for adults as well as children to stand up in. This is particularly useful when it comes to taking tea with the owner!
Downstairs there is a den with double doors and 2 windows that is a useful play space, tht readily becomes a shop, a garage, a second den for another child. It’s not unknown for this space to be used as storage for outdoor ride on toys when not in use.
A really cool feature is the ladder that goes from outside on the lower deck right up into the inside of the upper house. Kids love this, and it it provides yet another means of getting up or down from the upper level.
Of course, an important feature of the Playways Mega Combo is the tower, which is reached by crossing the chain link clatter bridge. This hugely extends the scope for game play. Your children’s imaginations will really take flight as they imagine scenes from Peter Pan, or Tarzan, or turn the playcentre into a pirate ship or galleon, using the scamble net as rigging.
There is a wide range of climbing frame activities that are included as well. The super slick wave slide is ideal for rapid descents as is the fireman’s pole. On the other hand to scale the climbing wall or ascend the scramble net will present challenging and confidence building activities every child will love. The monkey bars can be configured with swings, and for adults who may not so relish the challenge of the climbing frame elements there are steps and ladders so that you too can join the fun.
This amazing playcentre is handmade in our workshop in East Devon. There are many aspects of the design that can be configured in different ways. And as this playhouse is made to order it can be customised and changed in a large number of ways to suit your garden.
