"When we decided to build a play house / climbing frame for our children (then aged 7 and 3) we were faced with a huge array of choices in terms of style, quality and budget. After amassing a small forest of information on the subject we happened across Playways, made a tentative call and never looked back.
"Martin and David's initial visit was informative and enthusiastic and they were full of ideas on how best to use a rather awkward shaped, slightly sloping corner of a garden under a huge eucalyptus tree.
"The design came together quickly and with the reassurance of modest costings and a visit to another customer whose project was already under way, we were able to give the children the fantastic gift of endless play possibilities with a house on a raised platform, tucked under a tree and with a long runway off it and various means of ascent and descent: a fireman's pole, ladder, climbing wall, not to mention a trapeze and daisy swing.
"This makes the area sound huge but actually it is quite small. The acid test came when our older teenage daughter brought home a group of about 10 friends and we found them all lounging around and playing on it too!
"As a family we have really enjoyed the whole experience and the children (and their friends who are very keen to visit!) are able to use the tree house in all weathers. Martin has even added a deck below the house where we now store outdoor toys, (teddy tea parties and boys' meetings permitting of course!).
