Is installation included?
Because every installation is different we keep the charge for delivery and installation separate to the main price. Please ask us for a delivery and installation quotation.
Is safety surfacing required?
In most situations grass is an adequate surface for platforms to be sited on, however you may choose to put localised surfacing under slides, monkey bars etc, this will also prevent grass and soil erosion in these areas. During a hot summer what is normally lush and springy grass can become a hard and unyielding surface. There are many options available which we can supply, please ask us for further information.
Do Playways deliver for self assembly?
No (swings excepted if ordering in isolation). All our products are hand crafted, and require skill and a knowledge of the product to assemble. We want to make sure they are installed correctly and therefore insist on doing it ourselves.
Is planning permission required?
We are not planning experts but are happy to work with clients to provide information, support and design flexibility as required.
For larger installations you may wish to check with your local planning authority.
Do Playways make home visits?
Yes, we are happy to make a home visit, this is free and the client is under no obligation as a result of the visit. A short conversation and viewing of the site can be very beneficial for us as well as the client to understand needs and desires, and the possibilities available.
Are Playways products fully weather resistant?
All our products are designed for permanent outdoor siting and consequently are fully weather resistant. The paints and stains are specially designed for the outdoors, and the timber is pressure treated. We will advise you on aftercare treatment at the time of installation.
Is VAT included in the price?
Yes, all Playways prices indicated in the brochure include VAT at 15%.
