At Playways we get to build our climbing frames and playhouses in locations nationwide and in small gardens as well as large. One of the areas I visit frequently is central London, and towns around in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Surrey, Essex and Kent. In these areas there are a lot of small town gardens where the garden is surrounded by other properties. Usually, a raised playhouse climbing frame combination would be too imposing and too much an imposition on the neighbours privacy to be a realistic proposition. Nevertheless, all those elements of a den or playhouse, climbing, swinging and sliding are still what many parents want to provide for their children. That is why we came up with the new clubhouse climbing frame concept.
Whatever the size of garden, the benefits of being able to encourage children to play outside rather than inside are immense. Where space is limited its also important that whatever structures you place in your garden have a positive impact on the look and feel of the space. We designed the Clubhouse climbing frame to include all the wendy house and climbing frame elements from our popular raised playhouses including important elevated raised outdoor playspace. By some re-imagining the use of the available space we’ve managed to provide all the fantastic activities, and a playhouse in a unit that is below 2.5m in height. And, making use of every piece of space that’s available, the whole unit is less on 2 metres deep and 4.5 metres wide (not including the slide).
At Playways we believe that making the best use use of the space available and offering the customer as much choice and flexibility as possible truly sets us apart. Usually the footprint of the clubhouse unit is 2m x 2m. But it isn’t always. We will make yours a bit smaller, or a bit larger as space allows. We will discuss with you different ways of laying out the play activities, the slide, swings, monkey bars and so on to make best use of the space and to ensure that we include as much of your wishlist as possible. These decisions are frequently made during a visit to your garden to measure up and to ensure that what we are building for you is what you want, and is going to work and make the most use of the space in your garden.
When all is decided, our process is to then manufacture the play equipment in our workshop and to come and install the climbing frame playhouse in your garden. For a product such as the clubhouse climbing frame this will only take one day in your garden to build.
The Clubhouse climbing frame is one of a number of solutions we have for small gardens. And is one of the many products and designs that we make for gardens small or large.
