In the first part of of this feature about some of the wooden garden playhouses and climbing frames we built in 2013 we ended by looking at Harvestwood House we built in Surrey. We start the second part with another large designer playhouse, this time in the North Cotswolds.

We filmed a Badger Lodge Playhouse in the Cotswolds

We ended part one of this feature with one of our large playhouses, the Harvestwood House. One of the early projects in 2013 was another of our stunning playhouses with upstairs. Whilst on site we made a short video about this playhouse.

With its Cedar shingle roof and unique porch configuration the Badger Lodge is Playhouse that makes a stunning feature in any garden. There’s a large upstairs area and the gable window means the whole house feels spacious and airy.

Our colourful playhouses are a ray of sunshine no matter what the weather is doing

Another of the playhouses we make is the Swiss chalet.
Swiss Chalet childrens wooden playhousesThis Swiss chalet playhouse is gorgeous to look at and has window boxes and a veranda. It can also be provided with a stable door if you wish. This play cottage was built for a school playground playhouse near Truro in Cornwall. The blue and yellow colour scheme look fantastic in the summer sunshine. And the shutter trim and window boxes finish the look perfectly.

This climbing frame has a sand box, as well as monkey bars and swings.

Our treetops tower range of wooden climbing frames is a very versatile play system.
Play towerWhether you go for a single tower with slide, climbing wall, fireman’s pole and steps, or extend it to include swings, or even a bridge and second tower, there is loads of fun built in. And because kids love to be off the ground we provide a generous 1.5m square deck so there’s plenty of room up top.

If you’ve got the space an Otter Cottage playcentre is just the ticket

raised playhouse This Otter Cottage has been built into a climbing frame playcentre that has a downstairs den as well as swings and monkey bars. The cottage is lined and painted inside and out. And there’s a wide range of climbing frame and swing accessories that can be added to make your playcentre even more fun.
